My story
From Alaska to Arizona.
Always people first.
I’m Lisa Marsh, owner of Merake Consulting. Originally from Savannah, Georgia, I recently moved to Arizona after calling Alaska home for 15 years. I’m excited to build new relationships here and help business owners feel more confident about their finances.
I began my accounting career in 2013, starting as an intern in the oil spill response field. My path took me into construction supporting Alaska’s oil fields and later into HVAC and plumbing services. Working across these industries taught me how closely the numbers connect to the everyday decisions, challenges, and people that keep a business going.
I hold a Master of Science in Management from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage. My background brings together accounting, financial strategy, leadership, and a commitment to making processes work better.

I believe leadership starts with listening, clear communication, and a willingness to serve. Behind every business are people working toward something that matters to them. Understanding that purpose is just as important to me as understanding the financial reports.

Beyond the books
Family, a little adventure,
and a good book.
My family is my biggest motivation. As a wife and mother, I know the importance of balance, resilience, and leading by example. Outside of work, you’ll find me riding horses, getting lost in a good book, playing instruments with my daughter, or enjoying some delightfully cringe-worthy reality TV.
